Kathleen provides compassionate, respectful therapy for individuals and families ranging from pre adolescent to geriatric population. She specializes in a range of affective and anxiety disorders, including Bipolar Disorder II, panic attacks, agoraphobia, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and anxiety due to medical conditions. She also works with those suffering from substance abuser and other chronic mental health disorders such as schizophrenia and Bipolar I. Using different strength based approaches depending on individual needs, she helps to identify what challenges you and inner strengths you possess to overcome obstacles.
One technique is insight-oriented in which she asks exploratory questions with the purpose of ferreting out what is behind one’s problem. Another method is called Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, which involves tracking destructive thought patterns in order to replace them with a healthier outlook, resulting in positive behavioral changes.
Today’s modern world is complicated, and often difficult to navigate. She will explore possibilities that will enable you to think more creatively about solutions to difficult problems, allowing you to live more fully, more in the present and with greater joy and fulfillment.
